Michal Pilecki

Michał holds a Master's degree in Climatology and Hydrology from University of Warsaw and a Bachelor's degree in Geography with majors in Hydrology, Meteorology and Climatology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. Michał's got five years of professional experience in the field of Meteorology where his specialty lies in Energy Meteorology, using his weather forecasting skills to predict energy consumption and delivery. Prior to joining Energetech, Michał was working as an Energy Meteorologist at Respect Energy in Warsaw, responsible for the preparation of weather scenarios for power and gas trading across CEE,CWE and Nord Pool markets, as well as developing weather tools for trading and dynamic weather coverage for Europe.

Michał has found his professional true calling in Energy Meteorology and aims at becoming one of the best meteorologists in his field. His 'work hard - play hard' mentality stretches to his personal life, where his weather forecasting skills come in handy as a licensed paragliding pilot. Michał loves spending time outside, enjoys hiking, playing football and has a passion for aesthetic bodybuilding and even holds a Personal Trainer Certificate. With Michal, we not only have a skilled Energy Meteorologist but a multilingual event and trip organizer on our team.
